PrizePost campaigns are contests. The top 3 creators by views split the prize pool (90% of the brand's budget). Tier split depends on how many qualify: 1 qualifier = 100%, 2 = 75/25, 3+ = 50/30/20. Each winner's prize is capped at views × $3/1,000 — so big views mean big payouts, weak views mean a small prize even if you place. 4th place and below earn $0 from PrizePost. Payouts go out via Stripe Connect after the campaign window closes.
You earn $0 from PrizePost — even if you qualified (1,000+ views, 3%+ likes). But you keep all the YouTube views you generated, your YouTube ad revenue, and the finished video as a portfolio piece. The PrizePost cash goes to whoever delivered the most views.
If your video doesn't hit 1,000 views or 3% likes, you don't place in the contest. If no creator in the campaign qualifies, the brand's entire budget — including the platform fee — is refunded.
